Woman charged after single-vehicle rollover on Ingraham Trail

A 26-year-old woman is charged with impaired driving and failure to provide a breath sample following a single-car rollover on the Ingraham Trail, not far from the Dettah Road.

RCMP stated in an email that they were called about 5:15 pm Friday regarding a single-vehicle collision at KM 15 on the Ingraham Trail.

Upon arrival, Emergency Medical Services and the City of Yellowknife Fire Division were already on site, along with Municipal Enforcement Officers, police stated.

RCMP say the passenger of the vehicle received treatment for a non-life threatening injury.

Empty beer cartons were seen in and outside the vehicle which still hadn’t been removed when CKLB went to the scene on Wednesday afternoon.

It’s not entirely clear whether the driver was injured at all in the crash.

The suspect’s name has not been released.
